Teaching is HEART WORK! ❤

I absolutely love to teach.  I’ve been pushing through the challenges and changes that I’ve been faced with since March 2020. I must say though that it has made me become a better teacher. I’ve been doing what I used to consider impossible. I’ve learned how to create more engaging lessons, incorporate more technology into my classroom, and create more teacher made assessments for data.

There are days when I am overwhelmed, overwork, drained and frustrated.  But there are also days when I’m filled with happiness from a successful lesson. There are days where my students run to me during their recess time to show me they can count using the strategies I’ve taught them in class. Or better yet, my students are completing their homework activities and showing me they’re working hard to increase their math skills.

Needless to say teaching takes more than lesson plans. It takes time, creativity, and HEART WORK!
